Abstract:Objective To evaluate the value of GE 3.0 T magnetic resonance multi-b value in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma
with argon helium cryoablation. Methods A total of 70 patients with liver cancer treated with argon helium cryoablation in our hospital
were enrolled. All patients were examined by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) 1 weeks before argon helium cryoablation, and the
second times MRI follow-up was performed 1 months after operation. The two MRI scans were consistent with conventional scan,
dynamic contrast enhancement and diffusion weighted imaging (DWI). The diffusion coefficient was taken as 5 groups, b=500, 600, 700,
800, and 1000 s/mm2. The apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) of water molecules before and after different b values were recorded.
The image quality scores of DWI images at different b values were analyzed, and the ADC values of the postoperative lesions were
statistically analyzed. Results Under different b values, the average value of ADC after operation was higher than that before operation,
the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). In 70 cases, the total score of b=600 s/mm2 was 298, and the image quality of DWI
map was the best at that time, followed by b=700 s/mm2, then b=500, 800, 1000 s/mm2. The ADC value of the necrotic tissue was
significantly higher than that of the residual tissue and recurrent tissue after operation, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).
Conclusion Among these 5 images with different b values, the image quality was the best when b=600 s/mm2, and the ADC value of
postoperative necrotic tissue was the highest, which could be used to evaluate the therapeutic effect of argon helium knife for liver cancer.
