Abstract:This paper researched the quality control program for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
based on results of quality testing of fifteen magnetic resonance imaging systems in the secondary
hospitals in Shanghai. Evaluation indexes of imaging parameters used in the research included
signal to noise ratio, image uniformity, slice thickness, high contrast spatial resolution, geometric
distortion, and ghosting artifact. The research aimed to enhance the understanding and practice level
in the periodic inspection of magnetic resonance equipment.
