Abstract:Objective To analyze the application value of color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of
aortic dissection with limb dysfunction as the main clinical manifestation. Methods Select 61 cases
that were diagnosed with aortic dissection confirmed by CT angiography from March 2014 to March
2015 (among which 11 cases showed signs and symptoms of limb dysfunction as the main clinical
manifestation and chief complaint). All the 61 cases underwent color Doppler ultrasonography. The
imaging characteristics of each case were retrospectively analyzed. Results Among the 61 patients, aortic
dissection was detected in 51 cases by color Doppler ultrasonography. The aortic dissection in the rest
10 cases was not detected. The detection rate is 83.6%. The 11 cases with limb dysfunction as the chief
complaint can be classified as DeBakey I, among which 7 cases show no obvious signs of arthrosclerosis,
4 cases show signs of mild arthrosclerosis. All the patients showed changes in venous sample frequency
at distal arteries. Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasound is easy to operate and transfer. It can provide
real-time imaging in a safe and non-invasive manner. It can be used as the preliminary screening method
for aortic dissection with limb dysfunction as the main clinical manifestation. Meanwhile it is of great
significance in choosing care plans as well as in evaluating the clinical effects.
